We can eliminate any problems i.e. draughts, rattles, stiff or jammed, broken cords etc and leave your windows functioning better than they were originally intended and more energy efficient too.

On the restoration side we offer three levels of service aimed to meet your requirements and budget.

1. Silver Service
Remove top and bottom sashes. Remove excessive paint, route and install draught-proofing nylon brush strip incorporating water barrier membrane, strip channels in box and attend to any minor repairs. Check weights and increase if necessary, fit new sash cord. Reinstate sashes to include new draught proofing parting and staff bead, with new locks and sash lifts. Any newly exposed timber will be undercoated and finished with a quick drying gloss.

TIME SCALE - This is normally completed in 1 day.

2. Silver Gilt
All of the Silver Service plus a 1st class full paint package to the exterior only, to include full preparation to the exterior of the box frame, removal of paint from glass, renewal/cleaning up of putty lines, re-pointing of sash box to brickwork etc and gloss to finish.

3. Gold Service
All of the Silver Service plus a 1st class full paint package to include full preparation to the interior/exterior of the box frame, removal of paint from glass, renewal/cleaning up of putty lines, re-pointing of sash box to brickwork etc and gloss to finish.

TIME SCALE - This is normally completed in 3-4 days.
